Taking notice of Scottish-made artisan gin’s recent popularity, the husband-and-wife team realized if anyone could craft an authentic version, they could. And that’s how Loch Ness Gin came to be. Despite the name, there’s nothing mythical about the ingredients: Everything in the bottle is the real MacCoy, from the homegrown native rare juniper, to the local botanicals, to the pure water from the Ross’ privately owned aquifer.
