  • Cali Creamin’ Vanilla Cream Ale

Named as the brewery’s most popular beer, Cali Creamin’ Vanilla Ale is a light cream ale that has a seriously malty backbone. Its secret? The perfect balance of freshly flaked corn and a dash of honey malt. Its name comes from that unforgettable vanilla essence that leaves you wanting more and more. Some say it tastes just like a cream soda.

Could this be one of the ultimate cream ales? Its color reminds you of a golden sun, while the thick head screams creaminess. Stick your nose over the glass and you can expect to smell sweet, sticky grains and even a hint of apple. • Sunlight Cream Ale

They call it their most approachable beer, and we’d say it’s pretty damn approachable indeed. Treat yourself to crisp aromas of lemon and freshly cut grass with just a hint of spice. The taste is a whole new ball game: sweet bready malt with a creamy body drifting off into a velvety smooth yet sweet finish. Perfect for an autumn evening while satisfying your ‘stache endeavors, too.

  • Spotted Cow

Based on a prohibition favorite, the Spotted Cow contains only the finest flaked barley and malt. It’s also brewed with a little corn on the side as a thank you to the farmers, they say (and what a difference it makes!). Take a whiff and you’ll get notes of corn sugar, freshly cut grass, and a delicate creamy sweetness. As if smell wasn’t enough, delight your taste buds with notes of wheat, fresh grass, a slight fruitiness, and that all-important creamy sweet followthrough.

  • Tout Mais Le Coller

Okay, you might want to sit down for this. First of all, The Bruery make some truly FANTASTIC beers. Secondly, this is one of my favorites. If you haven’t guessed by now I like the whole orange thing, and I feel this guy is up there with the best. They crafted “Tout Mais Le Coller” to clone the flavors of an orange cream popsicle. That would also explain the name “Everything but the stick”. The aim is to sip and have flashbacks of your youth, out in the yard, the late summer months or in my case up until my late teen years (I like orange popsicles, okay?!). The notes are unmistakable those of orange, cream, vanilla and even a little caramel. Upon sipping your taste buds are enticed as you envelop flavors of bittersweet orange peel with a creamy twist. Great head, great body, great taste and altogether a seriously great beer. Enjoy!

A light but soothing finish follows.

  • Grand Rabbits

Grand Rabbits is Black Rock’s “Get Stuff Done” Beer. On the nose, you start with floral notes that develop into lemon-citrus. The creamy element hits you with a little note of biscuit. If you like your beers sweet but with a snappy dry finish, this is your guy.

  • Genesee Cream Ale

Genesee Cream Ale is described as a “True American Original.” First brewed in the 1960’s, this little treat is available throughout most states. With a frothy, creamy head, Genesee emits notes of grainy malts, grassy hops, and a slight fruitiness. Mmm-hmm!
