Portland hosts a festival during July called the Oregon Brewery Festival. Breweries come from all over the world and yes there are international Breweries!! This event can be crazy as well as hot but it is a great way to take a brewery tour of some of the best breweries in Oregon. So come on! Lets go for a ride around Portland tasting some great beers!
Ex Novo
Ex Novo is located in a very secluded part of SouthEast Portland. Which makes this a great hideaway and a quiet neighborhood to enjoy a fantastic Brew. They take special care to know the types of beer they are creating and using awesome ingredients to create flavorful, unique, and clean beers. The food is such a compliment to the beers and very smart idea. They even have a cheese and beer pairing plate!! Small food menu but a wide variety of beers bound to make anyone happy. Oh, and they are non profit. Super Portlandia.

Gotta give them some points for creativity. They definitely focus on quality and pleasing most pallets. A fantastic lineup and great seasonals.

These guys put their heart and soul into creating amazing beer. They followed their dreams despite all the set backs which sets a great example. They use classic ingredients to build unique beers with heart and soul. For their summer seasonal the Uptown Session Ale has a strawberry note to it but citrus, crisp, and medium bodied but easy drinking for the hot summer months. Sit back and enjoy a great beer while you sit on the dock at the lake and watch the sunset.
