Built on history and a knack for spirits, Journeyman Distillery has joined the industry full speed ahead with offering of a wide selection of whiskeys, classics, and specialty choices. To only further their footprint in the spirit distilling worlds, Journeyman has opened their very own full service restaurant.
Staymaker takes its name from its location within the historic Featherbone Factory and the buildings past function as a facility for corsets. A staymaker was the person who handcrafted the corsets. The distillery is located on the southern half of the building, so when the northern half became available, the star aligned allowing the distillery to increase capacity and offer guests a full experience. Now, the 125-seat restaurant offers inventive twists on classic dishes utilizing local ingredients and incorporating Journeyman spirits whenever possible. The seating overlooks the new production facility with access to railing to watch the distillers at work. Journeyman wanted their guests to gain as much of the full process experience as possible when they step into Staymaker.
