Yauatcha is a Chinese dim sum teahouse with two restaurants in London – in the heart of Soho and in the City. The restaurant provides a unique dining experience, offering authentic dim sum with a contemporary influence. In July of this year Yauatcha announced that they partnered with Grey Goose to celebrate al fresco fine drinking. This collaboration between two iconic brands resulted in a collection of exclusive cocktails and a unique terrace experience at Yauatcha City, which designers Isabel & Helen helped create.
Until October, a canopy of blue flags will sweep across the East terrace of the restaurant creating a sea of turquoise light and motion that brings the feeling of sitting beneath ocean waves. The limited edition drinks and installation celebrate the iconic blue that connects the two brands and the fundamental ingredient of both – water. The three new cocktails are Citronella Spritz, Pink and Tonic, and Osmanthus Fizz; all delicious drinks with ingredients such as lychee, Italian bitters, Osmanthus Oolong tea and Saliza Amaretto. The terrace overlooks the bustling Broadgate Circle in London’s City and is the perfect venue for cocktails and dim sum alfresco. The terrace offers guests relaxed outdoor drinking and small eats with a DJ every Thursday.
