Chateau Machorre Cuvée La Villa 2010 Bordeaux Supérieur

91 Points. Beautifully creamy in texture, with lots of purple fruit on the nose, as well as flashes of blackberry, blueberry, balsamic, and hints of cedar and oak spice. On the palate, this is all silk, with a savory edge to the espresso grounds, dark cherry skin, vanilla, mineral, currants, and brambly berries and garrigue, as well as subtle hints of leather. Excellent for the holiday table…or any time of year, for that matter. Drink 2015 – 2019.

75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc
