Wine: Chateau Poujeaux Moulis-en-Medoc 2010
Score: 91 pts
Best Enjoyed: Now – 2019
Gorgeous nose, with lifted aromatics yet still somehow anchored. Aromas of sandalwood, balsamic, dark currants and black raspberries, melted black licorice, and a hint of Indian-spiced meat. On the palate, this is lively yet clearly at the end of its plateau, with charred sage, charcoal on the finish, a hint of purple flowers, grilled apricot, and sasparilla.
