Say goodbye to summer with these stylish cocktails and recipes, using your leftover farm fresh, peak season ingredients from your local grocery stores and neighborhood farmers’ markets. Take your last fresh mint, basil, egg whites and in-season berries and mix them in for the perfect end of summer refreshments with Deep Eddy Vodka, Crystal Head Vodka, Tequila Avión, Los Arango and Corralejo Tequila, MALFY Gin, Novo Fogo, Zaya Rum and Carpano Bianco.
Blue Betty
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Deep Eddy Vodka
- 2 oz Topo Chico
- ¼ oz agave nectar or simple syrup
- 6 blueberries (muddle)
- 1 basil leaf (muddle)
- ¼ oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Blueberry and basil leaf garnish
Method: Combine first 4 ingredients, then muddle, shake and strain over new ice. Top with Topo Chico. Garnish with blueberry and basil leaf.
Corralejo Tequila Spicy Grapefruit Sour
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Corralejo Reposado
- 1 ounce grapefruit juice
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ ounce jalapeño simple syrup
- 1 egg white
Method: Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients. Strain out ice and shake hard again. Strain into your glass. Garnish & Enjoy!
The Italian Sling
An adaptation of the classic Gin Sling made with Malfy Gin
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz. MALFY Gin
- 1 oz. Cinzano Rosso Vermouth
- 3/4 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 oz. simple syrup
- 2 dash Angostura bitters
- Club Soda
Strawberry Basil Paloma
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Los Arango Reposado
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
- ½ ounce agave syrup
- 2 chopped strawberries
- 5 basil leaves
- Soda to top
- Smoked sea salt for rim
Method: Rim your glass with smoked sea salt. Combine all ingredients except soda in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to chill and combine ingredients. Fine strain into a hi-ball glass over fresh ice. Top with soda. Garnish & Enjoy!
Berry Delicious Daiquiri
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Zaya Rum
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- ½ cup mixed fresh berries
Method: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients. Fine strain into a coupe glass. Garnish & Enjoy!
Northern Peach
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Crystal Head Vodka
- 2/5 oz freshly squeezed peach juice
- 1.4 oz. basil simple syrup
- Fresh basil leaves
Method: Pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake well then strain into a cocktail glass.Garnish: basil leaf
Spicy Ginger Margarita
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Los Arango Blanco
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ ounce ginger simple syrup
- 3 slices fresh cut jalapeño
- Tajín for rim
Method: Rim your glass with Tajín. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to chill and combine ingredients. Fine strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish & Enjoy!
Blueberry Batida
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Novo Fogo Silver or Chameleon Cachaça
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 oz sweetened condensed milk
- .5 oz agave nectar
- 7 blueberries
Method: Add all ingredients to a blender with half a cup of ice and blend until smooth. Garnish with berries and freshly grated cinnamon.
Rum Old Pal
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Zaya Rum
- 1 oz Campari
- 1 oz Carpano Bianco Vermouth
Method: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir for around 30 seconds to chill and combine ingredients. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish & Enjoy!
Sunrise With Maria
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Tequila Avión Reposado
- 1 oz. agave nectar
- 1 oz. POM juice
- .50 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
- 5-8 thyme sprigs
Method: Combine all. Shake until cold. Pour over ice into a rocks glass and garnish with 1 thyme leave from the shake.
