Harmonious notes of vanilla, black plum and creamy oak flow from the glass with a base of baking spices, cloves and cinnamon. There’s a sensuous dark fruit that lingers with liquorice and cherry cola finding their way into the mix as the wine continues to evolve. On the palate, a mouth-watering acidity introduces itself, ripe with pronounced flavours of plums, strawberries and black cherries. An underlying smokiness wraps itself around the tongue as cocoa, vanilla and sweet tobacco are bound together with a black pepper glaze.
