A Perfect Season: Jackson Estate “Stitch” Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Located in Marlborough, New Zealand’s largest wine region, is the Jackson Estate. Warm weather during the summer months coupled with cool nights keeps acid levels down and enhances flavor development. The “Stitch” Sauvignon Blank 2016 is named in honor of the founder of the Jackson Estate and is the result of one of the calmest weather patterns in the region in recent years. The long stretches of warm weather resulted in consistent ripeness and maturity and an impressive yield, and the wines were bottled in mid October 2016.

The wine offers complex florals for the nose, and has tasting notes of fresh citrus and ripe white stone fruit. The perfectly balanced acidity gives the wine balance and poise, making this a perfect choice for any occasion, especially in warm weather.
