Like pure comfort wrapped up in a bottle, the Ixá Añejo offers sumptuous aromas of toasted oak, butterscotch and toffee syrup. There’s an incredible fresh tobacco that rolls out of the glass, accompanied by dried apples, pears and apricots. Taking a sip will give you caramel, Madagascan vanilla and a warm concoction of baked spices such as nutmeg and clove. There is so much complexity within the glass, this is an incredibly well produced organic tequila that is a testament to Californian distilling.
