Modelo Chelada Tamarindo Picante

Here is a fun fact about my father: he drinks a Chelada every day after work. He usually goes for a cheap Bud Light but with Modelo’s newest release he may have a new go-to. The Modelo Chelada Tamarindo Picante is a twist on the classic chelada. The classic version of the drink is a mixture of beer, tomato and lime juices, and salt; however, with the new Modelo Chelada, they’re adding a few new ingredients to spice it up namely chipotle pepper and tamarind. With this new recipe Modelo is hoping to create a more authentic flavor that is both true to its roots and unique enough to separate itself from the pack. The chipotle adds an extra kick of spice to the classic chelada profile while the tamarind brings in a subtle sweetness that no other chelada on the market has. While there are several other cheladas on the market none of them capture the unique and authentic Mexican flavor expression quite like the Modelo Chelada Tamarindo Picante.
