Add Hop to Blackberries: An Anchor Brewing Creation

Since February of this year another beer was added to the market to expand your palette of IPAs. Anchor Brewing, based in San Francisco, turned to what used to be wildly rampant in California as the ideal choice for this particular brew: blackberries. Blackberry Daze IPA stands up to and also pairs nicely with the hops said Anchor Brewmaster Scott Ungermann. With a unique appearance of ruby, blush pink color that is not found in a regular IPA and a psychedelic label design reiterates its alluring nature and whimsical combination.

With a special blend of loamy hops that complement the brightness and deep complexities of the blackberries, this beer is a funky synthesis of rich earth and ripe fruit with a hop bitterness and blackberry tartness that finishes off refreshingly and dry. Standing at 6.5% ABV it is the perfect mix of sublimely intense flavors. Buy a 6-pack and enjoy the Daze.
