Priorat made the right way by Aussie winemaker, Don Lewis! His wealth of experience really shows here, exhibitng the best of Priorat with this Grenache heavy blend, that is superbly unctuous and utterly gorgeous. A wine to luxuriate over for sure!

A huge intensity of aromas and flavours flood the senses, with damson, blackberry and vanilla all taking centre stage. There are more subtle secondary flavours of raisin and liquorice, that play a supportive role and add another dimension to this already hugely characterful wine. The intensity and dryness is pleasantly gripping, the tannins silky and voluptuous, the acidity linear and the finish seemingly never ending.

This wine really has everything, it’s a thoroughly effective crowd pleaser, it pairs with a plethora of different foods, it has sufficient structure and complexity to be a bit of a showpiece and it’s at the apex of its drinking window. What’s not to love?
