Despite only contributing to 5% of the total wine production in Portugal’s Vinho Verde, there are some fabulous Rosés bring produced in the region, this being one of them.

On those nose you’ll notice a plethora of candied strawberries wrapped up in a bouquet of floral notes. Light fleshy meadow berries and stone fruits develop with a candied almond lingering in the background.

Upon taste you are presented with a light refreshing balance of ripe strawberry and interestingly, a creamy element as if strawberries and cream has been handed to you in a bowl with a sprinkle of sugar. The famous Vinho Verde acidity then comes into play combining a fantastic sweet-acidic balance that lingers on the palate.
