Crafted by Masters, Kentucky Straight Bourbon is meticulously blended to replicate and honor the tasting notes and profile preferred by American icon John Wayne, using his original recipe from 1962 and his private collection to guide flavor and aromatics. Duke Spirits is named after John Wayne, affectionately known as “The Duke.” Wayne was often quoted as saying that if he was going to have a drink, “It had better be a good one.” His bourbon and tequila passion can be traced back to the 1940s. Upon his son Ethan’s discovery of his lost memoirs, liquor collection and special blends, sealed since 1979, his project was reborn.
Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz Duke Bourbon
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 3/4 oz Simple Syrup
- 1/2 oz Blackberry Purée
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
- 1 Cardamom Pod
- Top with Club Soda
- Garnish: Lemon Wheel, Blackberry
Method: Muddle cardamom pod then add all ingredients except soda water and shake with ice then strain into a mason jar filled with ice, top with soda and garnish.
