2014 Triennia de Portia, Tempranillo, Ribera Del Duero, Spain

Huge, black, and bold. Needed to be decanted for 2 hours and then softened greatly. A very big wine that needed some time to open up. The ripe fruit mellowed and evened out the tannins and acid. Dark berries, leather, chocolate coat your mouth. Superb and fun from start to the pleasingly soft finish.
